This Refund Policy governs the manner in which adHub Inc. collects, uses, maintains and discloses information collected from users (each, a "User") of the adhub.ca website ("Site"). This Refund Policy applies to the Site and all products and services offered by adHub Inc.
adHub is only a venue for registered Publications to list print advertising and for registered Advertisers to make offers or purchase directly on such ads. The Site provides information on participating Publications and collects payments from participating Advertisers for transfer to the selected Publication. Therefore adHub cannot be held liable for the actions of the Users on the Site.
If an Advertiser would like to request a refund, they should contact the Publication who they purchased it from directly. Please note that purchased ads need to be refunded directly to the advertiser and not to adHub. In these cases, Publications should issue a refund to advertisers as per their standard refund policies.
adHub encourages all Users to resolve their own disputes. As a venue, adHub cannot mediate disputes between members or other parties. Any disputes regarding products and services offered though The Site should be arbitrated and settled between the Advertiser and Publication, not The Site. However, The Site appreciates any such disputes being reported to its staff.
Unless otherwise explicitly stated in its policies or terms, adHub is not responsible for refunds. Refunds will not be provided to an advertiser who purchases an ad in error or to a publication that sells advertising space in error.
The following are not grounds for adHub refunds:
We are only responsible for refunds through the Site in the case of a transactional error, website malfunction or incorrect charges.
Because transactional information is freely available on the Site, failed delivery of adHub emails to its Users does not constitute grounds for a refund. Refunds will not exceed the purchase price or charge of the ad.
If for any reason, the price billed is grossly understated or overstated, regardless of the price indicated or posted on this Site, adHub reserves the right to cancel the listing and refund the amount paid.
Any other refunds should be dealt with directly between the Advertiser and Publication. Advertisers requesting refunds should contact the Publication from which the ad was purchased. Any refund will be governed by each Publication's individual refund policy and we will in no way be liable for any refund except as otherwise stated here.
Refund requests from Publications should be sent to pubrefund@adHub.ca and from Advertisers to advertrefund@adHub.ca and will be handled on an individual basis. Under no other circumstances will adHub offer restitution to its Users and shall not exceed the cost of the ad that was paid in the original agreement.
Except as noted above, all initial Advertiser requests for a refund should be made to the publication. Any refund will be governed by each Publication's individual refund policy and we will in no way be liable for any refund except as otherwise stated here. As we are not involved in these secondary agreements, we will not mediate in any refund dispute.
All amendments or cancellations are subject to our examination. We will process your refund request as soon as possible.
Refunds from publications to advertisers may only include the cost of the ad and minus adHub’s commission.
Highlighting and featuring fees and adHub’s commission may not be refunded.
Refunds from adHub directly to Advertisers will include the cost of the ad and commission taken by adHub.
It is the Users responsibility to contact each other directly to cancel an advertisement prior to publication. Advertisers should be aware that publications have individual cancellation and refund policies that vary from publication to publication. We will not issue refunds for ad cancellations unless it is directly related to a site error.
Publications reserve the absolute right to refuse to accept any submitted advertisement at any time. To exercise a Right of Refusal Publications must contact adHub immediately after receiving the purchase confirmation email.
