FAQ

Make An Offer

1.  What does 'Make Offer' mean?
The 'Make Offer' option allows Advertisers the opportunity to offer to buy an ad at a lower cost than the 'Buy Now' price. If the 'Make Offer' button does not appear in the listing, the seller is not interested in receiving offers for their ad. Offers are valid for 48 hours, or until the listing ends, whichever comes first. Advertisers should make what they consider to be their "best" offers for ads because Publications who receive multiple offers are likely to accept the highest price. However please remember that when you make an offer, you are entering into a contract with this Publication to buy the ad space if accepted.
2.  How much do I pay for an Ad when I 'Make an Offer'?
You will pay the amount you list on your Offer. There are no hidden fees.
3.  Can I make multiple Offers?
You can make as many Offers as you like. However please remember that when you make an offer, you are entering into a contract with this Publication to buy the ad space if accepted.
4.  Can I retract an Offer once I have submitted it?
An Offer cannot be retracted once you have submitted it until either the 48-hour deadline for acceptance has elapsed or the Ad expires, whichever is first.
5.  Can I submit more than one Offer for any given ad?
Yes. Advertisers can make as many Offers on an ad as they wish to.
6.  Can Offers be submitted that don't meet the Publication's reserve?
No. If an offer does not meet the Publication's reserve price, it will not be submitted.
7.  How will I know when my Offer has expired?
You will be able to see when an Offer has expired in several ways. Your adHub Notifications will display a message alerting you that your Offer has expired, it will no longer appear in 'Pending Ads' and via email if you check this setting in your Preferences.
8.  What happens if my Offer is rejected?
The Offer is cancelled and you will not be charged.
9.  How much of my account information does the Publication see when I 'Make an Offer'?
Publications will see only your Business Type, City and State. When Publications accept an offer, your business name and contact information will be revealed.
10.  Why are Offers made anonymously?
This ensures that the offer process remains fair to all parties.
