FAQ

Publication Search

1.  How do the 'Browsers' work?
adHub has 'Browsers' that allow you to search for Ads and Publications by applying multiple criteria (a keyword, or criteria from categories) or filters to drill down your search further.
2.  How does 'Browse Publications' work?
This section allows you to view adHub's Publications either in list form or using specific criteria to manage your search. Applying multiple filters to update your search, such as: Frequency, Publication Type, Circulation Area or Editorial Focus, you can manage the results based on the criteria you need.
3.  How can I use the list of Publications?
There are a variety of ways in which the list of Publications can be used. Advertisers can research the Publications that they are interested in, view the details of their media kits, add them to their Favourites or see and purchase ads they have running on adHub. Advertisers can even use the contact form to inquire about the Publication's ads even if they are not listed.
4.  How do I find a specific Publication I am looking for?
Specific Publications can be found by using either the keyword search or by applying the filters to narrow your results.
5.  Where can I find more information about a specific publication?
To find adHub's publications please visit adHub's "Browse Publications" page and click through to view a Publication's details. If you are interested in a publication not listed, please use the 'Suggest Publication' form to let us know and we will work to get them added.
6.  How do I find out more about the Publication who listed the Ad?
On the "Ad Detail" page, click the Media Kit link.
7.  Are Publication's Media Kits up to date?
We do our best to ensure that our Publication's information is current. The last date the Media Kit was updated is listed in the bottom right corner of the Media kit.
8.  What do the little number counts mean in the 'Browsers'?
The numbers in each category show the amount of results available that match the selection. Once filters are applied, another set of numbers are displayed which show the the total number of matches for that selection.
9.  What if the Publication I searched for has no ads for sale?
You can fill in the contact form on the Publication detail page or call adHub toll free at 866-234-8287 and we will request that the Publication create an Ad to your specifications.
10.  Is there a way I can contact the Publication?
We do not provide contact information until a transaction is completed. If you have questions about an Ad, please can contact us.
11.  Where should I start on adHub if I'm looking for a new publication to advertise in?
Searching for individual publications on adHub often brings up that publication's media kit. From there you'll be able to learn about the newspaper or magazine and hear about the benefits of advertising in that particular publication.
