Account Executive, Publications

Location: Canada

adHub is a leading ad network of Canadian advertisers and publications – both in the business to business and consumer spaces. Based in Toronto, but with the ability to telecommute, we are seeking an Account Executive, Publications on our growing sales team. This role is the key player in the growth the organization. Responsible for advertising sales and business development, the Account Executive, Publications reports directly to the President.

This role is ideal for an intermediate level salesperson. Ideally you will have 3-4 years sales experience and be comfortable pitching technology/advertising solutions to a wide range of clients including executives, advertising agencies, and retail level clients. You are familiar with print advertising and have experience selling digital products. You have passion for the changing media landscape, and skill to create and manage strong internal and external relationships. Your have a keen ability to think strategically, understand publication needs and creatively translate these needs into compelling concepts and programs.

  • Find solutions-based ways to grow advertising revenue by collaborating with numerous internal constituents (vertical and product sales, marketing and operations)
  • Translate client needs into product offerings to serve advertising and marketing solutions
  • Consult in sales revenue forecasting and business growth projections and goal setting
  • Collaborate with sales to devise client-meeting strategy, anticipate and resolve client objections
  • Build internal relationships to facilitate cross-disciplinary collaboration with key constituents, including sales, operations and publisher, and technology teams.
  • Act as a brand advocate and vertical expert for in the market with client, agency, and industry partners.
