INK+BEYOND 2012

Newspapers, Internet, Mobile oh my!



The Canadian Newspaper Association's annual conference INK + BEYOND has come and gone. adHub was there and we met a lot of great people, learned some, and really got a feel for the current pulse of the Canadian Newspaper industry.

There were interesting sessions, people and fun.

What we found particularily interesting, was during the Structuring Your Sales Team panel when moderator and CEO of Primedia Sales Ron Clark stated: "What started out as online has turned into digital...how on earth are we able to keep pace with this fast-emerging digital world, let alone develop and manage a sales force to drive all this non-traditional revenue while ensuring that our traditional revenue stays around as long as possible?"

This is an amazingly simple statement that demonstrates the current climate and challenges that Print faces.

We know that adHub's service adds value, but more than that, its never been clearer that Publishers need to fire up every tool in their arsenal to be successful in this 'fast-emerging' digital world.
